Christ the Redeemer There's much to enjoy about Brazil, from the cuisine to the music to the all around vibrant culture that pulses throughout the city.  From the heights of its mountains to the depths of its favelas; it's a place filled with beauty and energy that bustles out every corner. On my trip to Rio, I was able to explore some of the most famous sites of Brazil. Escadaria Selaron Escadaria Selaron: The Escadaria Selaron is one of Rio's best loved attractions, the steps leading up from Rua Joaquim Silva is a work of art created by Chilean-born artists Jorge Selaron, who dedicided to cover the steps with colorful mosaics. These steps are his dedication to the Brazillian people, the 215 steps are a vivid riot of color.
